Will it take a Lumia charger? The forums on the android website aren't any help

Aren't the phone chargers for android / iPhone all the same now as per some EU law?

Edit: Yep they are, included a link above.

Iphones don't have the same, they have lightning cables. All other manufacturers seem to have went with the micro usb.

Actually the law has been in force for years now.

    What the law states is:

    1) The wall plug most be able to take a standard USB Type A female.

    2) The plug end of the cable most be USB Type A male.

    3) The device charging end of the plug should be micro usb

Notice point 3 is optional. Almost all manufacturers went with micro USB (Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, pretty much every android phone). The one exception is Apple who went for the lightning plug on the device end of the cable.

In order to apply with the law, Apple have to sell a micro USB to lightning adaptor for use with other companies micro usb cables and which Apple does.

Also the iPhone plug will also work with a standard micro usb charging cable.

So which is better the Moto E at 89 or the 8gb Moto G at 100?

So which is better the Moto E at 89 or the 8gb Moto G at 100?

    Well the Moto G has:
    - Larger, higher quality screen (4.5" 720 x 1280 vs 4.3" 540 x 960)
    - Faster, quad core versus a dual core CPU
    - Includes a LED flash, the E doesn't
    - Includes a front facing camera, the E doesn't
    - Faster GPU
    - Slightly larger battery
    - 8GB of storage versus 4GB

The advantage of the Moto E is:
    - Supports MicroSD with up to 32GB extra storage
    - £10 cheaper

On the whole, the Moto G is probably the better buy still.

In time I expect the Moto E will get cheaper and the non LTE Moto G will go away replaced by the LTE+MicroSD Moto G.

Absolutely, microSD means you'll never be stuck for extra memory and you're futureproofed for LTE.

And yet, the company finally unveiled its long-awaited One with a price tag of just $299 for the entry-level 16GB model (and $349 for the 64GB version) – a remarkable price, given the device’s flagship-class specs. The OnePlus One includes a quad-core 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution, a 3100mAh battery and 3GB of RAM, along with a 13MP six-lens rear camera and a 5MP cam up front.

    €220 euro.

Why is the $299 OnePlus One so cheap? Because they're selling it at cost

    We're spoilt.

I wonder if/when it's going to decrease in price and to how much, as a result of the Moto E / upgraded Moto G.

Fired in the sim, no joy. But that link worked a treat, had it unlocked in no time, thanks a million. Only annoyance about the whole thing was having to spend 5e of meteor credit to buy the bloody phone ha, I told the chap behind the counter straight out I was unlocking it anyway!

I went to get a Moto G in Meteor in Stephen's Green, they said I need to buy a SIM card with €10 credit on it to purchase it. I walked out and went to Meteor on Grafton Street and they sold it to me no problem, they even offered me a free Meteor SIM!
