What method for cleaning walnut wooden floors?

I'm just moving into a new house and these floors aren't laminated....there all dusty etc. at the moment. There are also lots of paint droplets on them.... Any advice much appreciated - thanks.

get some wooden floor cleaner and a spray bottle, spray it on and clean the floors with a swiffer... dont pour water on the floor.

for the paint spots, your best bet is your finger nail.. a credit card works too
