    I was watching 'Heat' there a few weeks back, and the actor Tom Noonan was in it for a bit. He's a very large man with an impressive beard, but he has the most gentle voice. I think that he's great at what he does, but the voice seems a mismatch for his fearsome appearance, especially considering that he often plays villains.

    And then there's Frank Black. He's not very tall and a bit overweight, but he has the powerful voice of a younger man. The voice just doesn't seem to fit the body.

    She's still good looking, in a shy kind of way - her voice made me think she was made out of gossamer, gold and Gothic stained glass though. :)

    Don't get me wrong. I think that Tom Noonan has a very calm, pleasant voice. It's just that he looks like the Unabomber and he has the voice of a mild mannered engineer. His voice is so quietly self assured that it demands your attention when he speaks.
