It's very awkward isn't it, the lads watching it........

It reminds me of trying to be nice in front of a camera in your face when you don't like anyone around you.......

    It's weak.

Apologies for repeating myself, but this is my favourite Beatles cover

As featured on my Desert Islands Disc List!

Ah, thanks dude. It occurred to me that if I waited years to buy it, i'd have spent years not playing it. But i'd still have to pay for it...

    Hell, I'm delighted!

Now, I dearly love old Ringo, but even hardcore Beatles fans acknowledge this was just album filler!!

Saw him and The All Starr Band play in The Point in the nineties. It was only ever going to be a bit of fun, but it pretty hard to take him seriously when he came to the front of the stage in his high heels!!

Ah, tbh I like the album version. I have sang it live in karaoke :o

I love how Please Please Me has two Shirelles Cover Versions and was recorded in one day, they were different time,

Did the Dublin marathon a few years back...going into the Phoenix Park there was a bunch of lads - seven or eight probably - sitting outside a house, drinking cans, and roaring that at the runners.

Even now thinking of it picks me up a bit!

    :-D:-D

Fair play to you, I've never got past 10k ... I love a team of Gary Breens. it's nonsense but it's brilliant.

there's someone sitting at home now who came up with that first. I'll raise a glass to him or her - Slainte!

Paul is wiping the floor from Ringo...

    Honestly, gsw

He still does the best 2 3/4 hours show you will ever hear.

    He is the best.

Why aren't they playing Beatles songs together?

    The material doesn't compare.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

Paul has had the same support band for his live show for years ... they keep a low profile but they are excellent musicians.

Touring the World with Paul McCartney ... there are worse gigs!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,749 ✭✭✭✭grey_so_what

Imagine having Paul at a session?.......Wow!

    God, the audience are painful.......

    Might be the finale? Dunno.

I will say the audience did NOT look like that when I saw him!
