@How so Joe: No that's great, thanks. I just didn't know where to go. Tomorrow or Thursday's fine. By 'quick' I just meant somewhere I wouldn't have to leave it in days in advance. Like 20 minutes quick.

Queued for 3 hours today for beach ball tickets , the girl in front of me got the last one and I got to see her run merrily off with her ticket while all I got were sore feet and sunburn.

Luckily I live beside a REAL beach so I'm having a beach ball for myself instead :D

But it is Donabate, so is it really a win? :pac:

Oh to be 14 again... (or 20 in banquo's case :P)

And then they ended up in the Eurovision!

That post was a bad idea. Since posting those videos my youtube playlist has continues with Basshunter, N-Dubz, Tinchy Strider, Iyaz and Jason Derulo.

I DIDN'T LIKE THE SONGS WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT!

Speaking of teenage discos while we're at it does anyone know somewhere decent in town for drinks/dancing that wont mind letting an 18 year old in ?

My sisters coming out with us for my birthday but I haven't a notion of anywhere (besides the creche aka The academy ) in town thats not over 21's !?

    :pac:

I got into the Roost easily as an 18-year-old...wait, by "town" are you referring to Dublin? I think I recall a few people referring to a trip to Dublin as "going into town".

Depends on the night. I know diceys, Madison, and Alchemy will let people in under 18 on some nights.

Where would a person find someone to do a quick heat bind on a bunch of A4 pages (roughly 70)? I would've gone to the shop in the Arts Block Annex but it doesn't exist anymore.

Inkjet world on mill street. Give them a ring before you go down and they can turn the machine on, it takes like 20 minutes to heat up!! We get all our heat binding done for work in there, lovely bunch of lads!

Is it just me or is there new traffic lights on the kilcock road at the underground car park?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,849 ✭✭✭✭PopePalpatine

I don't think so, I remember those traffic lights from last year.

Don't worry - banquo is incredibly ancient and his hangover is almost entirely because he's too old to handle drink any more.
The last time we went out boards beersing, he was still locked at 12 the next day.
Too old to handle the craic...
