    This is very interesting......

The spot where your saab and bus broke down... in the curragh ?

My old civic died there once for no reason at all and so did a friends car.... its like a car black spot or haunted car location !

A civic dying, that's rare, very rare

Its the only time EVER in history of me owning that car that it just stopped working for no reason. Just engine died.

Started again though and went on my way but no faults etc or reason why it happened !

I'm slowly but surely aggregating parts, or parts to fit other parts.

A few metres of wire got picked up earlier... service kit ordered. Wheels should be ready tomorrow...

You should have seen the civic that was pulled apart by two us Big Rigs at the weekend, that died a torturous death!

If you sell your car Take Down the ****ing Advert afterwards

    That is all.

Called up about 4 RX-8's. All 4 had been sold. 2 of the ad's were recently updated.

I saw a cherry red 2007 Škoda Octavia in KFC car park yesterday. It had a shiny gold grille, gold trim on the bumpers, doors and the middle pillar thing between windows. It was really weird.

Planning on giving the Yaris a well deserved service soon. Anyone have any idea if the Service Kits on the likes of eBay are any good?

Get oil, filters and plugs from Micks Garage.

I did this (except the oil) for most of mine, even the likes of valve cover gaskets are cheap there (plus they send out jelly babies)

    What jelly babies?

Ah no, I am surprised you never got them. Do you always check the bottom of the box?
I bet you've thrown them out in the past!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,925 ✭✭✭GvidoR

Yep, I always checked the box for some goodies that may have fallen in there accidentally or put in there intentionally. :)

Will probably order another box sometime soon, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that I get some haribo's.

Looking for a quick bit of advice lads.

I've my eyes on this ad, hoping to get the front lip and spoiler as my own is bog standard without any OEM trimmings. I'd take the rear spats too, but there's no point buying one if the other's fúcked.

Going by that picture, would you say the spat itself is shagged, or was just torn off and brought a piece of the bumper with it?

Could be alright, I'd be surprised if it didn't need paint though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,480 ✭✭✭YbFocus

Looks like the spat was broken off bringing the adjoining bumper with it. I'd be surprised if it's not warped at least.
