    Hi

Does anyone have any experience of registering an Irish reg van in the UK when it has a previous UK reg.

Does this make the registration process easier?

    Thanks

    Hi

Yes it does make the process easier. Have looked into this myself. All you have to do is contact the DVLA once you're over there and they'll guide you as to what to do next.

Van will have been declared as exported so all they will have to do is change it's status and re issue you with the plates it was registered on. You can then get it MOT'd taxed and insured or what ever the commercial equivalent is in the UK.

If it was an Irish van coming into the UK for the first time it's a whole other ball game, especially if the speedo is in KPH:)
