Posters closing their account

    Do you ever get kinda irritated when a well known poster closes their account? Recently two well known posters who I liked closed their account. I didn't always agree with their opinions and sometimes they annoyed me but all the same I liked these two.

    What annoys me most is I know the two of them have probably re-regged and now I have to figure out who they are! :P

    Anyway, have you ever been annoyed at a poster closing their account?

    I agreed with them a lot actually, probably most of the time. Just sometimes I completely disagreed with them! :o:p

    They're two very well known posters, but I won't mention who they are cos' of the charter! :pac:

    I hope Femme_Fatale re-regs, Iove her posts.

    I closed my old account (and another before that). Don't think anyone was annoyed though, probably relieved more than anything :o

    Whenever I see a new account I try to figure out who they used to be. Some are obvious, some invent a new persona. If I ever re-reg I'm going to pretend to be a man.

    She's one of the posters I was talking about. She re-regged before and I figured out who she was. I hope she re-regs again!

    Seven or eight people guessed who I was a re-reg of within a few months of me opening this account. My posting style is quite obvious, apparently. Basterds.

    It's pointless as well sometimes as some of them are easy to identify anyway when they do comeback.

    I personally don't see any personas on here at all, only posts. Nor do I spend my spare time trying to find a persona and match it to a potential re-reg. I also don't start threads about said re-reg's.

    I've been reading AH and other forums in boards for 4-5 years now, even though I rarely post it's always obvious who the re-reg's are. Same posting style, same story. No point really unless you're embarrassed of your post count, I always thought that was the sole reason for creating a new account tbh.
