I'll have to put my winter pyjamas on tonight and the woolly socks to avoid using the electrical blanket :(

37 on the buzzfeed thing. I'm a moderate people hater!
Trivial thing for this morning: having to get up early even though I've a day off.

Ditherers really do my nut in.Cant decide what to have for lunch ,let me stand in the queue in front of everyone and hold them up.Move to teh side while you are deciding and let people who do know what they want through.

30 out of 65, but tbh I held back.

I only got 64 out if 65 (I didnt select the slow driver one because I am a learner and I hate when ignorant so and so's drive up my hole) - but I also thought of another 60 to add - does that count? ;)

Signing up for overtime then realizing they hadn't even offered incentive... D'oh!

    Hardly "trivial" but definitely ANNOYING!

It's just as well we have this thread to vent. Otherwise many of us would have had our Michael Douglas moment from that film Falling Down, and gone on a violent rampage, it's still touch and go for me. I could feel my hand twitching when the woman in front of me in Dunnes was dithering this morning.

The dark part of my soul wanted to shout at her to pack faster and hit her repeatedly with my empty shopping bag:D

Well you had us waiting! Can't say I'm disappointed though :D

Same here. I was behind a couple in a queue one day recently who had to make the momentous decision, butter or mayonnaise, grated or sliced cheese, plain chicken or... I almost lost the will to live.

They're usually the knobs who say things like "can I get" - HAVE, the word you are looking for is HAVE!

And people who become immobilised on moving stairs. The world wont fuuking implode if you move at the same time you know.... Lets all get there faster please.

jeepers... have some patience! so much angst over such a small event.... the world does not revolve around your one banana...it really doesnt....people like you fussing and fuming are a pest! try helping the ones who are having problems, with a smile.

i put a cheeky face-:P- like so at the end. the thread is called

    "trivial things that annoy you"

its a thread about how small things in every day life annoy some of us, and not others. I wasn't looking for people to agree. There are small things that annoy you that wouldn't annoy me.

I wasn't fussing and fuming, it was just a thought in my head

As for helping people with problems, with a smile, if you could see me 5days a week, thats what I specialise in, no matter how rude/stupid/ angry a person is.

Because I decided to post in a thread about a trivial thing that annoys me, it doesn't reflect on how I am as a person. Perhaps your personal attack on the type of person I am/ you think I am without knowing, is a reflection of you.

Everything in this thread should be taken with a pich of salt :)

    enjoy reading :D

Trivial thing to annoy me today

Young people who get on the bus for 2 stops or less. Old people, fair enough but young lads should just walk instead of slowing the bus down.

I don't mind people standing if they stay to one side...good of me, I know :D. But why the heck do some people decide the best place for a family / friend reunion is right at the top or bottom of the stairs, just where people are either trying to step off or on.

Deal or No Deal - when they run over and kiss/hug the person that has just opened their box.

I hate the new versions of old Game Shows.

The new 15 to 1 is awful and the lad who does Catchphrase is no Roy Walker. He has a face that you'd love to punch.

    Same goes for Vernon Kay

Or the way, when you're late, there's always just one fuucker getting on or off at each stop. Why cant they all get off at one stop, or even every third? (that's me being reasonable, God help us).

Oh GOD i can't stand The Voice of Ireland! I'm forced into watching it with my nan when i call over on Sundays but all it does is highlight to me how cheap RTE is, these poor fools on it who are never going to get anything from it except maybe a stint in the xmas panto at The Gaiety if they're lucky! The standard is shocking but that's not even the worst part of the show! Cringe tv at its very best!

your customary discourtsey is noted. and you need to check the statute book closely. you are incorrect ...again.

no doubt you will insist on trying for the last word so please,,,

Afraid I have to answer as I worked in the environmental field for over 40 years. The felling of trees or cutting of hedges on residential property does not require a felling licence nor is it illegal at this time of year. It is important that this is accurately conveyed before people take incorrect action.

    Done.

I suggest you smack him/her with a glove across the face, offer a choice of weapon (pistols at dawn would be my preference) and settle this once and for all:D

People who say "..washed down with a bottle of beer" or "washed down with a glass of wine".
I fuppin hate it and I don't know why. It reminds me of backwashing or something.

When someone is behind me in the line up and I notice they only have one item as opposed to my millions of items, I always let them go ahead of me. It's the right thing to do. :)

Me too. Annoys me when I have say a trolley full of stuff, and I'm second in line, and the person in front also has a trolley full of stuff. So I let someone with one item go ahead of me....and then the person in front doesnt do the same!

I've never had that happen yet but if it ever does happen, I'll be sure to open my mouth and say something. :)

Well, as long as the person ahead of me isn't in the midst of running their stuff through and the cashier is scanning it in.
