NCT it, it should cost you a tad over €100 and it'll add value to your car, plus you'll get a lot more interest in it.

Yep, not many people want a car that needs repairs, and an nct seems to alleviate that

Honestly, I'd love to keep it as it's a nice, cheap-to-run and reliable car. It's just that I have my eye on a certain Volkswagen that I can't wait to get and I don't have much spare cash as it is.

I think everybody has their eye on a car they cannot afford.

The one I want is not expensive at all, yet I still don't have enough money for it right now.

What needs to be done with the colt anyways?

It needs a brake disc, a drop link, a wheel bearing and 3 brake lines. If they're all brand new parts then it's close to €100 for everything.

Handy enough alright, how are the balljoints on it?

Hard to tell right now, but good enough for NCT I guess. :)

Well then, you should get that stuff done, if not for the sale just for the benefit of yourself

I just wanted to see if the car I want popped up at an affordable price, then I could sell the colt quickly enough to buy it. I'll try to squeeze out enough money to get all the bits sorted anyway.

    Do it'l be worth it

Meanwhile in casa de pickles, I've to send my car off next week to get a new fuel pump fitted, I'd diy it only the fuel lines are a bit of a arse to get off and if they break I'm fecked

I had the same about the Shkooda at the start too. I always find an inverse correlation between the price and the number of weirdos!

Had a fella there ringing him from dublin.

Sure yiz will take 200 euros for eh, hold it for me ye and yiz can pick me of from the train station in Galway.

Car is advertised at €350 and you know he is just gonna continue lowballing after travelling 15 miles to pick him up. Brother didn't even mention price of agree to anything yer man thinks it's a done deal i'd say.

Like f**king seriously, i'd burn the car first.

You'd probably get more serious offer if you put it up for 500 euro. Still sell it for 3/350 but it would keep some of the weirdos away.

After the fun he had today with a gtv, I doubt he does :pac:

Supergurrier, a friend of mine got 550 for his 156, that needed a brand new engine last november. Surprised it hasn't sold yet, but then again 156's seem to have hit the bottom of the market by this stage
