Walker TV disconnecting from wifi

    Hi,

I recently bought a Walker smart tv. I have internet through UPC. I connected it to the internet using my wifi password, but for some reason, the connection doesn't last any longer than 2-3 minutes. I then have to manually connect it again.

I have no idea what could be causing this. I'm not sure if it's a problem with UPC or if the issue is with the TV. Has anyone had a similar problem?

I'd really like to resolve this soon!

    What Modem are you using?

Do Other devices have the same issue with wifi?

Where is the Modem in relation to where the TV is?

It's an Eircom E-Fibre modem. I have never had any issues using wifi with any other device. The modem is in the room beside where I have the TV.

The lastest thing I'm finding is that when the internet show up in the settings as being connected - I press the internet button, and it says internet is not connected!!

I'm so frustrated with it all at this stage.. :(

Eircom has nothing to do with UPC.
Since you can't use an Eircom modem with UPC you must either have Eircom for internet or UPC for internet. Which is it, an Eircom modem or a UPC modem?

    [Edit]
I'm not sure what you mean by the 2nd last sentence. Is the TV showing WiFi is connected but it's not connecting to (downloading content from) the internet?
