Looking at buying a 2005 Seat Ibiza 1.4 5 door in very good condition, as a second run around from a friend and they have asked me to give them what I think its worth. I dont want to take the P and want to give them a fair price for it. Carzone has anything from €2000 to €4000 for these. Anyone know what is the correct price for this car for a private sale?

On an Ibiza, the 1.2 is worth more than 1.4, value will depend on factors like colour, spec, service history, mileage etc. no matter how good it is, its not worth €4000

Just looking for a rough figure to give him. Its Sport trim with full service history, alloy wheels, sun roof and about 140,000 km.
I dont figure its worth 4000 but dont want to insult him either.

3000 would be about right IMO.

    Thanks.
    I'll give him 3k then.
Want to be fair to everyone.
