Just got to ask is anyone annoyed with all this not in Europe crap giving us a better season?

I mean there are 14 teams not in Europe why are none of the rest of those going for the league too?

I think it has helped Liverpool to a point. It has probably levelled the playing field a bit with Liverpool having a smaller squad and Man City/Chelsea having the bigger squads to deal with the extra games in the CL.

Yes it's a slight advantage, but all that it shows is just how much Liverpool have improved this season. To go from 7th to 10 points away from being champions in one season is just incredible. Rodgers deserves unbelievable credit for instilling this belief in the team, a belief that has been there all season, it hasn't just crept up over the past couple of weeks when they've realised just how close they are.

Not playing in Europe; when you consider our squad and budget its more a less a level playing field IMO. We have a starting 11 with 2 realistic options on the bench.

It's another lame excuse from Jose

I'm going back over old stuff again. Interview below is from early FSG (NESV then) days and makes interesting listening with hindsight.
    Warning: Roy Hodgson is mentioned

Whatever about building the new stadium, I admire that man's taste in women, Linda's buttoned up red number is just fabulous :p

Its only a slight advantage. Generally teams that do not qualify for Europe aren't even in the running for top 4 the following season, let alone challenge for the title.

I'm not in the slightest bit annoyed with it because it doesn't matter to me. Whoever wins the league will deserve it either way.

Palace winning again. Hope they start thinking about their Summer holidays soon. After they play Man City of course.

Bloody Newcastle losing. I can see Pardew getting the bullet before playing us unfortunately

By far their biggest problem is that they have an awful team.

I'm not sure it matters who's in charge.

Crystal Palace officially safe, after five wins on the bounce. Here's hoping they do a Newcastle.

    Don't get this.

If they keep losing then they will be very low on confidence playing us regardless of who the manager is.

Think it's the perfect game to have to finish the season. We will beat them regardless of who is in charge.

Wickham is really helping us out this week

Just turn off the t.v and go have a nice relaxing bath, a glass of red and a novel for the rest of the evening, cos Chelsea are gonna walk this match. Demba Ba will come on and bag a brace, Torres and Salah will get 1 each and Willian to complete the rout with a 30 yard screamer.

Just forget it lads, Sunderland are muck.

Surely Ramirez will be out for next week now won't he.

Hopefully the FA look at the Ramires incident and act retrospectively.

1-1 at HT but not really getting my hopes up. Chelsea came very close a couple of times. They will definitely score. Think Sunderland will need another to have any hope of a draw.

It's 50/50. I can see Sunderland scoring on the break. Set pieces will be key.

Chelsea will win. I just hope they don't score 9 more goals as they'll equal our goal difference

Just wondering how Lee Cattermole has stayed playing in the premier league so long. But if he scored one now I'd forgive him all his sins!

Borini will surely get a league medal if he can get a winner here.
