Sizing seems generous on Aryn K. Dress is very flowy by design but seems generous even for that.

(Have a conference presentation coming up in a week or so, so thought this dress would do the trick nicely. Also might pick up a thin cream belt to nip in the waist)

It might not be my place to say but I don't think a belt would look good with the dress. It has enough going on as it is and the belt would detract from its loveliness, IMO. :) Would make it look a bit busy or something. It would ruin the sleek line of the dress. I don't even think the waist needs nipping in, it flares at the bottom and has that nice figure-skimming quality.

Started a new job recently, I'm determined not to wear black/grey to the office every day. Any excuse to shop really :pac:

    From h&m:

In both black and khaki, much nicer khaki than it looks in the pic!

    imagejpg1_zps19913c04.jpg

Navy Lace overlay skinny leg trousers. Lovely thick material, really comfy.

    imagejpg1_zps3b6dfb54.jpg

Mustard yellow thin knit cardigan, looks great with navy and nice and bright for spring/summer.

    1f3bdc33-1d2a-4dd6-b6ca-32d8948d57ed_zps1b8c2466.jpg

Navy skinny leg trousers, pink polka dots and nice and brights. Wore them with just a plain white blouse and the mustard cardigan. I really liked it all worn together but can understand it might look a bit bright for some people.

    imagejpg1_zpse0fd7594.jpg

Grey fitted dress, for those days where I have to look like a grown up :p

    imagejpg1_zps533effc9.jpg

Plain black stretch shirt. The v-neck is actually quite deep on this.

    imagejpg1_zpsd295d101.jpg

Black and white zebra print pencil skirt. The most slimming skirt I own. Love the print of this, a good way to get some more subdued colours in without feeling boring IMO

    imagejpg1_zps7f2d6e3a.jpg

Plain black high waisted (well, I'm 5' so it's high waisted on me ha!) pencil skirt. Handy for putting with some bright tops and cardigans.

    imagejpg1_zpsd84bff51.jpg

    From forever 21:

Frill detail blouse, bought it in cream and red!

    imagejpg1_zps59708678.jpg

All above to be worn with my own already quite bright wardrobe :D

Also, a pair of mid height black patent and nude patent heels to wear with all the above.

I could really do with getting paid now... :o

I actually ended up buying that navy stripey dress yellowhen posted a few weeks back from Dunnes.

    And this skirt from Penneys:
    Primark-SS14-4-de.png

Similar skirt style to the dress actually, I love them, they're like something from Grease!

Not sure yet, as it has yet to arrive to arrive to my door (I'm an impatient online shopper! :P)

The grey one that I have with the fluro orange trim is gorgeous . I've worn it a few times with pastel pink/white/baby blue & have got loads of compliments.

There was a fluro orange one that was doing the rounds on all the fashion blogs a few months ago, but I was late to the party and all the sizes were sold out :(

Hoping the pink one is a winner; I'm hoping that it is neon pink IRL :)

I'll report back re the size when it arrives

    what's the pink like?
    Is it similar to picture?
I don't want it too bright as I'll find it hard to wear!

Its lovely. In fact it is nicer than I thought it would be from picture. The Background sorta dulls down the pink. I wouldn't want it too mad bright either. So I'm happy...its sorta cool without being too much!!:-)

Had a little snoop on Asos again. Procrastination leads to online shopping!

I've ordered these pants in 2 sizes and we'll see which one fits. They're 'track pants' but I think they look pretty cool and really comfy. They'd be perfect for a long haul flight! I've holidays on the brain! :)
    image4xl.jpg

Also ordered this floaty lace skater dress. It looks perfect for hot summer days, assuming we get some!

I'm a 10/12 and I went for a 12. Better it's a little bigger for layering over tops than too tight IMHO :)

Size seems 'true to size'. I'm an 8/10 and went for a 10 for same reason bnagrrl...to ensure not too snug over tops. Fits nice across the shoulders even with light spring time jumper and happy that it doesn't look too big.
