Have a wild fucking guess

FFS he even has it in his location, as if you didn't already know, this feigned ignorance is cringeworthy shite. Perhaps you truly are ignorant that "town" is a common term for dublin city centre, I know lots of people from outside dublin who use it too, certainly not a secret.

But I don't believe you are ignorant of the fact, as why would you even be curious about what area it was?, its not like its relevant to anything in his story, not like he is saying " there's a bar with free drink tonight in town"

I met a lad who was a pain in my hole at school, there a year or two ago. I hopped out of my jeep in a filling station and he was walking out to his sh1tbox atra, belly hanging over his trousers and wearing a well known sewer-cleaning companies uniform, looking like a fat, bald beaten auld-lad. I greeted him cheerily, walked past and pmsl as I got my skinny, hairy headed ass a coffee. Karmas a bitch.

Grudges eat you up, not worth the effort. Let the devil take them, better to move on and forget.

Success is the best revenge, I swear to god.

Clean, and blowing peoples expectations away.

I was never bullied by the same person more than once except for my evil fcuking sisters. I learnt them good and proper though, good and proper.

Bet you had a good laugh when they were telling their friends how their hair was so shiny because of the new hair conditioner you "got down town"

Maybe people shouldnt refer to Dublin City as "town" then?, nobody would get their wee knickers in a knot over it.

I would pursue this scallywag to the ends of the earth. And should I expire ere the deed is done, I would follow his blackened soul into the frozen heart of hell.

Or, I'd just find a better way to spend my energy. Probably the latter.

    First option.

    And why stop there?

His children, his children's children, and all his descendants for a millennium hence should feel your wrath:eek:

What were the pros and cons OP? Is it possible that he still just commands a certain fear out of you, and that's why you didn't go over to him?

I have no idea how people carry anger or resentment around for so long.

It tends to be very easy. I resented the guys who bullied the ****e out of me during my time in school. I don't resent them anymore but if I see them, I choose to walk the other way.More for the fact that I have no desire to interact with them than any resentment. On the plus side,my decidedly average life is turning out much better than theirs from what I gather.

If one does find that bullying has affected their lives significantly. It is genuinely worth considering counselling of some variety. It can be a very difficult thing to get over,I still have some major trust issues for example. But I am working at it slowly and surely. :)

When I was in secondary school back in the 80's one of the most notorious bullies spent most of his non-bullying time with his tongue firmly planted up each teachers backside (not literally). He was, to them the perfect student, tall, big, great at sports and a good academic scholar as well and was a prefect in his final year.

Thing was, he made the lives of dozens of us complete misery, he was a notorious liar and snitch as well. I forgot about him for years, then one day out of the blue a woman I knew a little bit (let's call her Maggie) asked me about him, and specifically asked me did he ever bully anybody. I gave her the full version.

Turns out this guy was engaged, his fiancee ran into somebody who went to school with him and who told her what a complete pr!ck and bully he had been in school and to ask anybody who went to that school in the 80's, and they will verify it. So the fiancee asked around, and her friend, Maggie said she knew me, she knew i went to that school and she'd ask me.

Either way the fiancee contacted about 12 or 15 people who all gave the same story, turns out the fiancee had suffered from bullies in school herself, she lost interest in him and broke it off about 3 or 4 months before the wedding. His mother found out and was pretty shocked by it as well. He was badly affected by all this, seems it took him a few years to get over it, but from what i gather he hasn't really learnt anything.

A couple of years ago, we had our 20th anniversary of the Leaving Cert reunion. Some of the lads who were bullies haven't changed, some have and were ashamed of what they did, it was an interesting night all the same, interesting to see how people develop over the years.

If he asked me now, I'd tell him to leave tyre tracks on the guy.

But the "old man" was probably beaten himself...

It's all about breaking the cycle of violence/bullying.

Takes a real strong man to do that...

God there's one little prick from school that I would LOVE to give a decent punch to. By all accounts still an absolute dick.

I'd don't hold any particular anger and I can't remember the last time I thought about him before this thread but god, yeah one good clatter. I think I owe it to 13 year old me.

It's a well known & established term for dublin city, I know english lads who use it.

Maybe people shouldn't refer to kerry as "the kingdom", or when talking of galway they should be sure to say "galway in the west of ireland", just in case people think they are talking about galway in new york, or think the kingdom of denmark have a gaa team. But there is no need for that, you don't get gobshites acting the ignorant cunt and pretending they don't know where you mean.

Bully his children. Tell them you want them to run home to daddy and tell him to come fight you.
He will look so sad in his kids eyes when he refuses.

In all honesty get over it Im sure he is a different person now compared to when he was 12-15.

Objectively speaking, you are right, and I am not a good person.

    I can live with that.
