Johnson definitely has stepped up since he came back, probably our worst performing first teamer before that. Say we keep him, maybe £15 Million from Reina and Agger/Skrtel and spend about £40/45 Million should keep us right. I can see one of Aspas/Borini going as well.
    .

I am a fan of Johnson but always thought he should have been a winger. Not great in defence sometimes, can lose concentration. I think for FSG they are looking at the wages he is on and thinking either take a cut or move on.

Skrtel is worth keeping imho but I would say Agger could go but the best chance to sell him for top dollar was last season. He has hardly shone this season.

Just recalling now that when Henderson got sent off, the commentator said it was our first red in.... I can't remember how many matches. :P
    Seemed a lot though.

Well we're predicting the future, I'm not infallible in that score!

Wages are important as well, I posted a link back in January hinting at how our wages levels would be under pressure because of the new PL wage limits, Reina, Johnson and Agger/Skrtel going would give us a bit more flexibility in that regard.

Selling Skrtel would be absolute madness.

Agger will be sold before Skrtel.

The last time Arsenal and ManUnited missed out on a top 4 spot was 35 Years ago.
That season Liverpool won the league and Everton finished 4th.
Liverpool won their last 4 game without conceding a goal and we're unbeaten in their last 8.
They also won 3-0 at Old Trafford like we did this season.
Arsenal won the FA Cup at Wembley ending an 8 year trophy drought.

    Spooky or what ?

Would sell Reina, Toure, Coates, Aspas & Assaidi. Would also sell Agger if we need to raise further funds for transfers. Would not renew the Moses & Cissokho loans as well obviously! That's about it though. In overall terms don't think we have a huge amount of deadweights any more - had a lot to clear out over the last few seasons.

Think many of the loanees need to be brought back to give squad depth. Even if they are sent out on loan again they should all have release clauses built in, could be needed. I'd like to see Ilori, Borini, Wisdom, Suso, Teixeira & Ibe all in the first team squad next year - think there will be enough opportunities for them all to get reasonable amount of game time.

We simply won't get much better 4th choice cb than kolo. Not sure why people would want shot of him, his experience is also invaluable off the pitch I imagine.

Leave Kolo alone, ye heartless bastards!

I love Kolo as long as he is not on the pitch. There is a 99% chance he will fcuk up when he gets the ball.

Anyone listen to the Football Weekly podcast from earlier in the week? Would recommend it - great coverage of the match and the emotion around it.

Also, AC Jimbo does a pretty decent gag at the start involving Gerrard's post match speech.

I actually listened to it today. Who's the Irish bloke on it? He does my head in.

    Barry glen denning
He's a character, very funny and often gives out winning betting tips.

Toure was excellent at the start of the season.
He has been out of form since the new year but i still think he can be a useful squad player.
There tends to be a huge overeaction when any of our players are out of form.
The criticism of Sterling before last December was ridicolous.

There tends to be a huge overreaction when any of our players are in form too (Sterling > Neymar anyone? :p).

Just the nature of football fans, I find the relationship between (a section of) Arsenal fans and Wenger to be the best example.
