Incredible result today. I have a sinking feeling about the Chelsea game though...

As in we're going to sink Chelsea? That's fine.

It's probably too much to ask that we beat Chelsea to the title by beating Chelsea. Maybe, maybe not.

They're gonna come at us like rabid dogs. But I've seen us do the same.

Probably no harm if they feel they have to win that game. Will bring them out of their defensive shell which we can hopefully exploit.

Lose to Newcastle ?? haha - good one! These days no one loses to newcastle , in fact if they even score you deserve a fine.
just saying we cant win the league at palace unless city slip up again. Id be a lot more confident if henderson wasnt suspended.

Why is there so little confidence with our games?

We are the form team, won our last 10 and unbeaten in the last 15.

We have to be he favourites and Chelsea don't come out like rabid dogs. Not in them.

I wonder if mourinho will mention how unfair it is that sunderland only have 3 days rest before they play his totally rested team.

In rather disturbing news, it transpires that the OH's niece is making her confirmation on May 11th. At 3pm.

    God is mocking me.

Time to hatch a devious plan.

Faking your own death seems to be to go to plan around here.

No if city win all their games and we lose to newcastle they could pip us on goal difference

Damn, had in my head that City were on 70pts. Still, having only won 1 of their last 4, its a distinct possibility City will drop points in their away games at Palace and Everton. Fingers crossed.

I just don't believe Chelsea will suddenly change how they approach away games against the top teams. They know they've enough to score on the break, but will try to keep it tight rather than "come at" us. And that suits them a lot more than trying to hammer down the door against the lesser lights.

It would be absolutely epic if Sunderland were to get something from Chelsea at the weekend.

Come on Fabio you'll come back to Anfield a hero in the summer if ya grab the winner against them!!

Wouldn't even be a choice for me. Football all the way.

The longer a run like that goes on, the closer it is to ending.

Anyone that now believes Chelsea will come to anfield and attack sorry I can't see it

He will set up tight and try and hit us on the break and try and get a goal then park the bus

It's the natural pessimism of a Liverpool fan really.

Will only get more relaxed if Chelsea and City drop more points

Arsenal are welcome to ending it in August.

    Community Shield ;)

Echo reporting that Sturridge is undergoing treatment but is unlikely to be risked against Norwich.

Sounds fine to me I reckon there's noone better than Luis to get around the bus

I was sh*tting it going into the City game but I expect us to beat Chelsea tbh

Our defense can be dodgy but they have little to no options in terms of strikers so if we can cut the midfield supply coming in and hit them on the break we should be able to do some serious damage

It'll be different to the City game in that we'll most likely have more possession and more attacks due to them hunkering down at the back but that thought makes me less nervous than coming up against a team with a deadly front line

Jesus whats with all the negativity all of a sudden?, 4 days ago yet to play city we are full of confidence, now after beating city and them dropping 2 more points its all negative i dont get it:confused:

I can just imagine him on the open top bus medal round his neck and all after not playing a single game for us but helping win it.

Never feared City, love playing Chelsea too but this season feels like Moiurinho's revenge for 05 and 07.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

Lads, ye all sitting yourselves up for big fall and doubly if - and a big if - we beat Norwich, as Chelsea will hammer us at Anfield. They are the only team that really blow us away this season and we couldn't handle them. We are massive underdogs and haven't a hope. Just stop it.

Looking past Norwich for a brief moment. I think it's roles reversed for the Chelsea game. At Christmas we had to play them away 3 days after city away when we tired. Chelsea took advantage of that. In fact I even think mourinho made reference to our tired legs in his post match press conference.

Next week they have a very difficult trip to Madrid to play against a team bang in form and will surely be drained for a trip to anfield. Mourinho's rotation could be crucial.

At this stage if Chelsea were to prioritise anything what would it be? Europe or prem

Mourinho has never won the ECL with Chelsea.

    Maybe that?

I'd like Wenger to win the FA cup rather than Steve Bruce:D
