Another significant element of the Everton result tonight, win our next game its guaranteed Champions League football season. Lets not lose sight of the fact that at the start of the season that achievement alone would have been what we all wanted :) Amazing season!

Less of the talk about Chelsea and Palace, great result tonight but the most important game of the season right now is Norwich, beat them and then start talking about Chelsea!! Hope tonights result doesn't sub consciously make the players releax for the weekend. If anything the opposite should happen, makes them realise the teams fighting for their lives are not going to roll over easily.

Losing to Chelsea at Anfield for them to go on and win it would be very hard to take. Mourinho would be unbearable.

    [edit...]
Ugh, the thought of John Terry celebrating on the pitch afterwards at Anfield is sickening.

Yeah I still want us to win all our games.

    Don't care.

I'm done with the jinx / reverse jinx.

I just want us to hammer everyone.

Another draw at the bridge from Sunderland would do nicely. Anything can happen after tonight.

yes - i'd like to able to relax during the run-in

ideally four 5-0 wins with the opposing keeper sent-off in the first few minutes - we've had enough drama for one season, let's just cruise home now - no bumps

You won't win the league if you don't go through with it.

Yep dunno if my heart can handle another one. The City game was supposed to be winner takes all.

I would give my left nut to win the league by going 14 games unbeaten and staying unbeaten in 2014.

It would be unbelievable and no one then could say we didn't deserve it.

I think we might just make the top 4 now and get CL football :p
    FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!

That kind of talk will jinx any hope we have of getting top 4

Good jaysus. Some results there. Hope that sends us a warning about teams not wanting to drop. Bricking it for Palace, now.

So Chelsea will have to go for the win and can't play for a draw. Class!!
They had to do that anyway.

If Sunderland take points off Chelsea I shall cheer them on in every match in the championship next year!

In all seriousness this results just shows how tough it is to get results in this league at this stage of the year. All focus on Sunday & Norwich

Only on the assumption Liverpool win the other 3 games.....a lot of work to do that too. All about Norwich now.

If by some miracle we did win it we would be paper champions, think of all the games we only won because the other team didn't show up.

The chance Nasri missed tonight to win the game was ridiculous.

Add that to Silva's miss on Sunday makes me wonder if it's written in the stars this year.

Starting to have a feeling like the 2005 CL campaign.

....and also Utd's demise means the league is not as good this year.
