    Symptoms like that, looks like a brain problem/infection. I'd be calling the vet.

    had one like that a month or so ago, ended up getting her shot. Lost a cow in a drain this evening , she drowned:mad::mad::mad::mad:

    This is our 4 the sick cow now between down cows and stuff like this

    yes the quicker you treat her the better her chances of recovery are

    Would she not want iv antibiotics. I don't know about you but I wouldn't be able to do that. I'd need the vet to administer.

    ye the one i had got i think 5 injections, mostly in the vein, she couldnt eat and couldnt see:mad:

    Rang him there he's giving me two bottles of stuff.
    All IM
    one bottle is split between tonight and tomorrow morning
    And other I have to give 3 30ml doses over next 3 days

    Sounds like something that happened to one of our bullocks a few weeks ago, was told it was lifteria, told to give 40ml Oxitate La & 30ml Tylon alternate days for 4 days, he's seems ok now but the ear is still lopsided.

    He doing ok, will feed on to finish off with next batch.

    some of my vets live 45 minutes away but can get here in 35 @ 3 am

    IMO that beast needs Iv treatment to night

    That is really the vets problem , dont be too sympathetic about his travelling time . He knew that when signing you up as a client .

    Have her done now. Lot of stuff given to her hope it does the job. Bit of fit in her so hope she pulls through

    Same thing happens the whole time to us. We build up numbers only to get knocked down again.
    If I loose many more I'll be milk a herd of heifers and old cows next year

    Could be anything. If I had no clue at all I would be getting a PM done. If there was no sign of illness or any sort of mark on her now it could have been a heart attack or defect. Oh and welcome, pity it's on an unfortunate note :/
