Sound Deadening Pads for S/S Sink

Old one is falling away is there any particular type of pad I should get for this, old stuff looks like thick oily black felt.

You should be able pick up sound deadening pads in any motor factors.
Usually around 400mm x 400mm in size. Peel of backing and stick on.
