Windows 8.1 pc keeps crashing and bluescreening

Hi, my Toshiba laptop (not sure of exact model) keeps crashing and blue screening with various error messages (critical process died, bad pool header, memory management and something about a thread).Doesnt seem to stay on long enough to try a system restore/refresh. Any idea what i could try?

How often does it crash? Every few minutes, hours, etc?

Think I'm sorted thanks. Only started today and happened every few minutes.
