Would it not take away from the whole forum though?
Maybe it might be an idea to have just a dairy forum and get rid of the sheep forum?
If there was a specific area for the dairy posts the Shep threads and beef threads wouldn't get drowned out.
And we can all come back into this forum and have the banter on the chit chat and answer any threads on each forum?

    OIH!

    Hands off the sheep forum!

Just cos you don't have a forum doesn't mean you can go stealing others
    ;)

ah jayus rancher, i thought we were going to stop that sniping,

its spoiling it for everyone, leave personal issues outside the thread and just enjoy the thing

I call it slagging, you call it sniping,,,, don't read something in that's not there, would've been the same retort to anyone

I spent way too much time as a young lad in fields of turnips and fodder beet to ever bring meself to saying that dreadful word again:D

What I can't understand is all this username changing. It's not as if it's for greater levels of anonymity because their usually talking the same ole stuff and within a few days you go ahhhhh them again. So I might even change my own username if I get a good enough reason. So what is the reason there was mass desertion and rejoining in the last while?

    +1
If people keep dragging it up, it'll never finish. I'm unlikely to change the way I post,,,,,so if I go, then I'm gone...too old to change my ways:)

A dairy forum is a great idea imo. You could have beef, sheep and dairy and it would tidy up the threads too.

I'd say have it like the Motoring forum under Rec. If you click on Motoring you are brought to a page with a list of forums. Same could be done for Farming & Forestry.

Could have Sheep at the top of the list, as it's obviously the best forum with the best farmers in it.
General Farming - for the time being could be made up of beef, machinery, tillage, veg, etc.
    Forestry
    Smallholding
Dairy last to give ye lads & ladies with too much money something else to moan about :P

Everyone happy? No, thought not, fussy f-f-f-f-fellows..............

I take it that your hierarchy is based on land elevation rather than importance!

Saw this on Twitter and it reminded me of Ronald Reagan's saying about the nine most terrifying words in the English language, and they are "I'm from the Government, and I'm here to help".

let the oldest of the heifer calves out this morning, sent herself off to check on them a hour ago, no sign of her to come back thought they were gone, went and checked and er and calves stretched out in the sun :)

We're all enjoying the sun it seems! I had a new lifejacket to test so the best thing to do was launch myself off the pier into the lake.

    It works anyways :D:D

People need to self regulate. Getting rid of CC will only move the behavioural issues to other threads.

Freedominacup, Rancher, and myself have torn shreds off one another in the past year or more yet we can still have good humoured posts to each, or at least I think we do anyway.

If a person really can't get on with someone else then IMO, either voluntarily ignore them by not conversing with them or use the ignore function.

This is one of those moments con when you and I agree. Kinda makes ya feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Driving in heavy traffic on Friday in Dublin and can't get car in gear.... clutch slave cylinder leaking fluid. Thank God the sister thought of the breakdown assist on insurance. Oit and temp fix within the hour. Definitely worth anything to have it. You could have every tool under the sun but not worth a fiddlers when your on the road and they're all back at home!

Got tinkering this evening and changed it. Handy enough. Out now for a scoop to celebrate :D
