No I think its a fair point that they preferred Liverpool to beat City
If City won yesterday it would have been out of Chelseas hands
Where now if Chelsea win all their games they are champions
not if City win all there games. There 5 points behind Chelsea with 2 games in hand

Just read this, I thought i'd share it here. It sums up how I(and every other nufc fan) feels right now. In 11/12 we finished 13 points ahead of Liverpool.

Really don't want Chelsea to win the league, but if the win the remainder of their games then it's theirs, no question.

    Kate Cohen said so.

Have a lot of respect for Newcastle and their fans after being hosted in a friendly manner in the stands as a Red during a ritualistic thrashing of their heroes last year, nice bunch of people and very kin to Irish & scousers

These are great times to be a liverpool fan, top of the league and a respectful tribute and commemoration to hillsborough.

Then you hear about those scummy c*nts who defiled the bridge in north dublin and it sickens you.

    Fcuking cretins

As I said in the Utd thread, there's clowns in every fan base.

I cant recall if that was given as a foul?

Committed challenge but could have gone wrong if Milner had been deft, but he does know when to pounce on a player. He is getting away with some things as he still looks so young i reckon.
Laughing at that gif cos Milner is just not anticipating that properly until he is upside down in the air, lol, shouldn't laugh tho, lol :pac:

    On Sterling fwiw:

"Sterling brings other qualities too, most notably his sheer scuttling relentlessness." :D

Its disgusting how anyone can call themselves an LFC fan and write that makes me mind-numbingly angry. They'll get whats coming to them hopefully.

    Subhuman.

I was just thinking along similar lines. Just cos they wrote LFC doesn't mean they are a fan, it just means they knew what to write to add to the reaction.

Defacing any memorial is horrendous enough, adding LFC to a memorial of a Man utd player just adds to it.

    It's sickening, absolutely disgraceful stuff.

Anyone else cacking it at the thought of Henderson missing the Chelsea game? Would it be a game more suited to Lucas than Allen?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

Football is so utterly trivial that it's impossible to accurately state how ****ing stupid it is to sink so low over rivalries in it.

That goes for all ****ty behaviour - crowds throwing things, hurling abuse, racist chanting, death threats, etc.

It just doesn't ****ing matter. It's not important. Maybe getting under people's skin in that way would be justified if they'd murdered your family. But they didn't. It's just a bloody sport.

The only consolation is the sorts of people that do these things have to live their entire pathetic little lives as stupid, ignorant arseholes and while we can move on from their actions, they're stuck with who they are - ****ty ****ty people that could die and nobody would give a ****.

    Cu*ts.

Saw on sky earlier that Hendo has played 99.2% (or something similar) of league games this season. Immense. Will be hard to replace him.
Allen is more like for like - plenty of running, chasing people down, closing down space, nibbling at opposition toes.

Lucas has a lot of that in his locker too, but its where on the pitch they do it. The way Gerrard has been playing we'd need to shift tactics to have him and Lucas in the same team. Good for closing up shop with 30 mins or less to go, but starting the game I'd prefer to have Allen come in.

Anyway, Chelsea game is 2 weeks away.. Norwich next!
