Questions that occupy your mind that no-one else seems to ask

What questions trouble your mind that don't seem to weigh on the minds of others?

I sometimes wonder if parents of twins (who are too young to know their own names) get them mixed up and can't figure out which is which permanently.
Imagine they're giving them their first bath in the sink or whatever. They take off their clothes, wash them, then suddenly realise that they're left with two identical, naked babies. How would they know which one was little Johnny and which was little Timmy?
But most importantly, would it matter? The babies wouldn't know their names yet, so it wouldn't really affect them. Moreover, could you then basically just raise identical twins for about a year or so and not give a damn about which is which, as it doesn't really matter?

    Why does everyone say "liquorish?"

What do wild animals do with their time? I know they hunt and graze and such, but there's still a lot of time left in the day. Do they just stand or sit around all day? That'd be terrible, even if they're not aware of how bored they should be.
I mean, what does a frog do all day? Does it just sit around in the mud staring in front of it, or does it sometimes decide to go for a hop?

When someone tells me they spend their evenings watching soaps I look at them in much the same way.

I'm not sure you're the only to ask that, I'll have to check.

    Because it's a wretched domain.

    'Cos that's how it's pronunced :)
Something to do with the original French word...I'm too tired to bother looking it up.

Sometimes I wonder about that girl and if things were different what could have been. I should have asked her stay. But she's gone away.

Compression I think they call it,fit as much in as quickly as possible so music, voices etc will all be happening at once.

I thought it was just to make sure you heard them and therefore bought the products. It's a pity no-one's ever told BARRY SCOTT!! that ads are louder than programmes.

I was in the cinema today and as I was watching all the late-comers shuffle in 10minutes into the film, I was thinking............... why am I always late for everything but I'm never late for the cinema. I just couldn't be late for the cinema, it doesn't happen. And how can I not figure out how to harness this selective punctuality and apply it to other areas in my life

I was in Aldi recently. They were selling trolley tokens for 89 cent. They were the size of a 1 euro coin. Aldi trolleys take a 2 euro coin.

Do Aldi want me to shop somewhere else?

So you can hear the tv when you go to the kitchen to make a cup of tea

The question I should have asked is why are tv ads allowed to be so much louder than the tv shows.

Just bugs me, girlfriend always complains and I have to keep turning the volume down and then back up.

I try to watch BBC as much as possible as a result. Or just download stuff with the ads removed.

I wonder if people who used to live let's say 300 years ago thought of people like us living 300 years from their "now". How they used to portrait us...

Or - if I'm around an old place, like a castle etc. - I wonder who the people who built it were, what were their names, what worries they had, were they happy in relationships, what was their favourite food, how they died...?

Sometimes wonder is my reality the same as everyone else's. Like is my blue someone elses red. Is the language I use and hear the same as what everyone else hears. Do my eyes see the same things everyone else's see

Do our brains just translate everything into a form only we individually can rationalise. Also why can I never explain this theory better....prob cause its a load of horse****

Why do people arrive late for the cinema at all? They obviously want to see the film as they've paid quite a bit to do so. Why miss the start?
I can't get my head round regular cinemagoers who only arrive at the cinema at the time the film's due to start on a busy weekend night, then buy their tickets and food. It's like every time they go is their first time and they haven't figured out how it works yet.
They're the worst people ever, especially if you're waiting for them to show up to watch a film with them.
