Them and City can discuss them in their own threads.

So what, their threads are actually on topic? Just our thread where football talk actually isn't permitted? :pac:

A policeman in the big city stops a man in a car with a miniature panda in the front seat. "What are you doing with that panda?" He exclaimed, "You should take it to the zoo." The following week, the same policeman sees the same man with the panda again in the front seat, with both of them wearing sunglasses. The policeman pulls him over. "I thought you were going to take that panda to the zoo!" The man replied, "I did. We had such a good time we are going to the beach this weekend.

Shouldn't have had it at that game. Chelsea fans were always going to act like Chelsea fans during it

All fans have undesirables it's attitudes like this that causes the very animosity you speak of.

Painting all fans with the same brush. Classy and small minded as the fans you are slating.

They were also outside the ground so probably had no idea that the minutes silence was going on.

Swansea down to 10 men. Two yellow cards in two minutes. Wow.

It's irrelevant. What happens Chelsea today doesn't change what we need to do in the next 4 games.

The vast majority obseved it perfectly.

I don't doubt that. My point is that Chelsea have a hardcore minority who are out and out scum. The only way to prevent them from acting like that is to not give them the opportunity to

2 professional fouls, he gave him no option really.

It's a little relevant. You play Chelsea in one of those games....and they are now realistically in the same position as you.....they know they just have to win their games to win the title.

    Imagine Swansea beat Chelsea .................

If they get a point now it will be a minor miracle.

    Incorrect.

    How?

Chelsea win today and win their last 4 games they win the league

    Incorrect.

    Indeed.

If we lose to Chelsea it's City, assuming they do their business, who stand to profit, unless Chelsea can make up 13 goal difference in 4 games.

But if Chelsea beat Liverpool, that opens the door for City to win their games and win by a point. :P

Not a nice thing to say but a lot of liverpool fans disgraced themselves when the game went to 2-2 calling them a joke and bottlers
Jesus were contesting a title with a handful of games to go people need to get a grip

If Chelsea win all their remaining games, including today, they'll finish above us. But even then City could still win the league.

If Chelsea win their last 5 games I'd be very surprised if they didn't win the league. City could win their last 6, but I'd fancy them to drop 2 points somewhere, probably to Everton.

    They were bottlers.

It wasn't grit and determination that got us the result. It was quality and luck.

You don't stroll in after 24 years and have the swagger and belief of champions. That needs to get built up over a period of success. To start it off you need to break into the top tier any way you can - luck, quality, a favourable fixture list (we'd have been better equipped to deal with the pressure of this game 6 weeks ago).

Indeed. Everton will be fighting like beavers for that 4th spot. It would be great for us too. McCarthy, Coleman, McGeady and Gibson(when fit) would be playing in the champions league.

Both Chelsea and City's benches today cost more then the Liverpool starting XI.

Goes to show how good a job Rodgers has done given the disparity in resources. Only two managers in twenty PL seasons have ever managed to win it without unlimited resources. That's quiet an elite group Rodgers is edging closer to
