How do you score 2.74 goals per game with luck?

The only unfair advantage they had this season was no European football.

the hate is strong in lots of you.immense credit to man city, their fans were simply brilliant from the start ,the minutes silence.. i can hear chelsea's fans singing through it now as i type (a small minority) ..their team was superb to come back after the pummelling they took in first half.

but my team won,we had the desire to push on,we had the amazing home crowd, the brilliant young manager in charge, a possessed captain leading, .. we dont have the best squad, most money, biggest stadium...

BUT WE ARE TOP WITH 4 GAMES LEFT .. BRING ON THE REST I SAY

    Remove unfair. Just an advantage.

The flip side of that is no European football has hampered the club in the transfer market. Losing out on Salah, MickeyRyan and Willian (possibly losing out on them) and maybe Costa as well.
Whether the club was really in for any of them is debatably but the lack has had a negative impact in transfers.

Chelsea guaranteed 3 points now. Chico off.

It's not like Liverpool have a small squad, one of which is young (the youngest on average?) and has been riddled with injuries too. Sakho, Lucas, Sturridge, Agger, Enrique, Johnson and Allen missing significant game time. Suarez missing 5 games through suspension too. But keep rambling on about no European football if you wish.

So playing at least six less games makes zero difference. Genius.

also gained an unfair advantage my knocking themselves out of the cups.

Have you ever compared Chelsea and Cities benches to Liverpool's?

Because sub's are perfectly interchangeable while maintaining the harmony of the first team?

Face it. No Europe is a big weight off liverpools neck, especially at this stage.

City have been out of europe for about 6 weeks or am I imagining that?

So having a strong squad is of no advantage when facing injuries and a heavy match load? How is that point not as valid as your assumption?

City are long gone out of Europe, so it's an advantage to them at this stage as well.
Not being in Europe is a double sided sword and if it's such an advantage. how Is it not that more clubs in the past never made it to this stage like Liverpool, if it's so advantageous?

I think we have seen time and again that money doesn't guarantee anything.

City/Chelsea have both won leagues since all that money has been invested.

Time to unfollow I think. Congratulations Liverpool fans. Deserved winners, not by a lot but deserved. For our sake, I hope it's not the end of the title race.
