This guy has never played a full round of golf, but reckons with 10,000 hours practice he can become a pro. Here's his journey. Interesting

His last post a couple of days ago in the countdown section says he's just reached halfway and playing (well it seems) off of a 6 handicap so fair play!

There are more doubts about that HC than hours in his program :)

US HC system allows a lot of room for vanity handicaps.
He was at 6 or 7 by the time he played in his first comp... Which he went around in ~ 100 blows.
Think the course was about 5,500 yards.

He was doing great with sponsors at that start of it. They all seem to be shying away now.

    His original goal:
Logging in 30-plus hours a week he will hit the 10,000 hour milestone by December 2016. During this time, Dan plans to develop his skills through deliberate practice, eventually winning amateur events and obtaining his PGA Tour card through a successful appearance in the PGA Tour’s Qualifying School, or “Q-School”.

Don't think q-school exists anymore! You have to compete on the challenge tour or whatever the us equivalent is!

Is it web.com? Was just throwing that up there as that was his original goal, set a good few years ago when the Q school was around.
