If we were to be thumped it wouldn't come as a surprise either. We're incredibly dangerous going forward but even more dangerous when on the back foot.

My ultimate point is that there is a wild card nature to this team and how we play. 08/09 was damn solid but far more predictable team.

In all seriousness I do think our bubble is going to burst, probably best for all our sanity and the site would explode. Still we always had Manchester and the 3-0, the 9-0 over Spurs, the 2 epic derbies, 5-0 over Arsenal, hell that 3-2 over Fulham will be remembered for a long time. We can't really lose at this stage, it's like being a 9 year old kid watching Liverpool and posting in these threads!

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

Liverpool U18s v West Brom - goaltastic 4-2 Canos, O'Hanlon, Kent, still time for a few more scores.

    edit FT 4-2.

Might whack €50 on Liverpool so - we haven't drawn many this season. Win win?

[edit] PS - anytime I think about Liverpool winning tomorrow I get dizzy. Imagine being seven points clear of City with four games to go (six for them). Yikes.

Its only first, last goal scorer, correct score and scorecast bets it applies to. Theyre not doing it on wdw

They are reckoning it as a draw - which is a common enough result between these two - about half the games end in stalemate since 2007.

edit - irrelevant fact as it turns out!

So if we get anything out of the game tomorrow 4th place should just about be ours I'd say. If Arsenal win in the cup they might go for that and then we might have a shout at 3rd with a bit of luck.

Gambling? Who said anything about gambling? It's not gambling when you know you're gonna win. Backing Skrtel to score first is a foolproof system.

There is a piece coming up on Today FM on Hillsborough in a few minutes with some interviews with some of the players there that day. On before 3 pm kickoff.

€10 on Skrtel first goal scorer at 25/1 and €2 on Suarez first goalscorer and Liverpool to win 3-2 at 35/1. Gonna stick another €5 on something - any suggestions?

so lads, panda references banned from the match thread.

I think we should all take a moment to think about that.

    Seriously, let that sink in.

The player I would worry about is Fernandinho if he controls the midfield that gives there attaching players a lot of freedom.

If we can take him out of the game I think we can have a good crack at upsetting there defence.
