All the plan for big power and you're willing to skimp in the suspension.
Suspension, tyres and brakes first and to the best standard.

You'd get them second hand cheaper anyway and they'd still be a much better option unless you're changing you're shocks to match.

Yes mammy :pac: I never said i was getting them, just seeing if anyone had any experiences with them etc etc

I should, but trying to get a decent set second hand that will fit is another thing, I'll show the face if funds allow!

I'd hold out for them, they'll turn up eventually.
€1200 seems a bit much too, I can get top shelf ones for my Mazda for just under €900 delivered.

Great idea, cheapest way to sort anything out is by looking at the other models.

Lads is it possible to get 20/25mm lowering springs?? All I can seem to find for mine is 30mm, Just for speed bumps and all that

You'll be fine. If I can go across them without scraping those raised 30mm springs will be fine

I don't pass many on my way to college now, 3 on the way out of where i live and then theres this big dip in the road beside the college as your heading for parnell street which is slightly concerning, so i figured i'd throw the question out there

that's a pig of a job alright! hate jobs with parts that cost a few euro but takes hours and hours of labour :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,815 ✭✭✭✭Dord

10 Euro oil seal and a quote from the garage of "ahhhh.... welll.... now....". It's been an interesting 2 years with my little car. :pac:
Someone who could do the job themselves or get a cheap mechanic to do it would be well sorted.

Rang revenue with chassis number/details on a 2006 cv8 monaro with 40k miles that I was looking at buying for just under 8k sterling.

    4500e

Are they out of their minds ? Was thinking 2k-2.5k or so
