Changing address, do I have to pay to change license? Do I even need to change it?

    Hey, I am moving to new address tomorrow, I was wondering do I need to bother with changing address or can I leave it at old?

    If I do change address on license, how much do I have to pay? Is it same as paying for new license? I need to change address on two licenses. I have one paper and one plastic card.

    Thanks.

    Oh and how long does it take?

    Changing personal details on licence is free.

    I'd imagine:
    Old paper license for full car license
    New plastic license as learner permit for other category

    Change of address is the only way to upgrade your paper full license to a plastic card for free... so I would go for it. Bear in mind that you would need address proof i.e bank statement etc with your new address on it, so it is something you cant get done immediately
