I'm not a wheel expert but it's generally accepted that you are better to get second hand genuine wheels over reps due to the lower quality materials etc used in the reps.

They're not your usual reps though. They're made in Germany and TUV certified. They seem to get good reviews on Porsche & Merc forums.

    I lol'd at this car

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/ford-mondeo-1-8-tdi/6748045

The first few pictures suggest that they are of the 2008 car that's for sale, which appears to be a hatch. The add states it's a 4 door saloon. The fifth pic is of a different car for sale from a ford dealer in Carlow. And there's another picture of a 2009 saloon thrown in for good measure. Why oh why do such dumbasses live amongst us :(
Edit: And it appears that it's a private sale, with the car still on english plates.

I'd be hesitant to buy a used alloy also.

This^ I've owned 2 sets of BBS wheels in my life and both were second hand, genuine wheels over reps all day everyday, TUV means little, plenty of brands have TUV approval i.e FK,JOM etc still wouldn't fit them to a wheel barrow.

Car is in this morning to have it's timing chain addressed as well as a leaky engine. Estimated cost €700- hopefully it doesn't come to much more than that :o

Some bad news lads....coolisin's car was stolen in Stepaside, Dublin 18 in the early hours this morning. Please keep an eye out for it:

    06-DL-3301

The front grill is black including the bonnet inserts and along with those alloys, it should be fairly noticeable.

Wouldn't be the first time someone has posted a "this is the closest I can find to my car online" pic.

True but that one is the actual car. Photo was taken at one of the boards meets in Portlaoise.

Let's say, if I do spot the car, what should I do next?

Call your local Garda station saying that you've spotted a car that you know is missing. Give them the description of the car along with the reg if you see it. Also tell them where you saw it, what time it was, what direction it was going in and how many passengers it had.

No worries - thank you for clarifying - I have put a couple of tweets about it on twitter.

and have included the pic above

Call the Gards, inform them when and where you saw it and in what direction the car was traveling.
Obviously, you tell them it was reported stolen.

No worries - I just hope the car gets found :)

Hope AGS are actively looking for the car and that it gets found ASAP in decent condition.

Blemishes on the paint that MM was going to be sorting out when I had some time off.

Lads I'll be honest tears where shed.
I'm going to miss arguing over who takes it to work!

If I get it back a proper proximity alarm will be fitted a GPS tracker of some sort.
And a bed as I will be living in the ****ing thing!

€400 euro on new tyres at the weekend, devastated!!
€160 on new battery and programmed in!

I need a new tv for flip sake!

Does anyone know where I could get a head gasket kit for an 89 Toyota Supra?

    Toyota?
It's a 1/2jz right? They should be fairly easy to come across, they're used all over the world for motor sport.
