I'm heading back as well after you.

Sunset Strip L.A. in the 80's at the height of hair metal.

You are a khaki coloured bombardier, it's Hiroshima that you're nearing.

May 4th 1977 Los Angeles Chinese Theatre, just to see Star Wars in the cinema and the reaction with everybody else, I'd need a mind wipe as well, but then I would forget where I parked the DeLorean and have to live out my life as an amnesiac in Late 70's California.

    Doesn't sound so bad actually.......
    ..........

Might visit my Da in Leitrim.

Give him a heads up on Google.

He goes out on 10000000 plastic googles.

He goes broke and I'm never born as a result.

1950's Ireland. See all the old school cars and farm equipment, mingle with the old school people and soak up the old school culture. Travel around a bit to Donegal and the islands, polish up on my cupla focal, head to Mayo and prevent Enda from being born. Convince a few future paedophile priests to become plumbers instead. Maybe buy a thatched cottage in a small town and turn it into a pub.

Well actually you can but it would be like creating a new stream on a river. It just wouldn't affect the main river.

Back to the year 2000. Get a big load of loans and buy a shag-load of property. The whole lot will be sold by the year 2006. I'll be off then to Dubai or Vegas or somewhere with my untold squillions.

    Hindsight is a great yoke...

You'd think so but I'd bet they'd want to consult the gods first, they were a very superstitious people. That should give me enough time to explain steel and soap.
    They're romans, they had both?

Towards the end but for the most part they had neither, they used to clean themselves with olive oil and a scrapper. Steel was a magical material pretty much right up till the industrial revolution. It was kept secret, barely understood and too labour intensive to make in any great numbers. Iron wasn't even considered a particularly good metal for a long time because it was softer than some of the alloys available. Steel being cheaply available to the masses is a fairly new thing.

I'd love to go back to the Troy era. See if that Helen one is as attractive as they said she was.

I would go back in time to see led zep open up for mc5 in the usa in 69, see black Sabbath play in new jersey with bruce springsteen's band "steel mill" as support, the pistols play the firefighters benefit gig in Huddersfield in 77, beatles cavern club, the stones in late 60's early 70's when they were really good, metallica at ruthies inn in 83, kyuss play Camden underworld in 95, nirvana lamefest tour in London in 89, the list is endless.

I'd go back five or six thousand years and go to the likes of newgrange, loughcrew ect around the country to see what actually went on in those places. I've always found it fascinating that there are thousands of these structures are all along Western Europe and nobody really knows who built them, why they built them, what the symbols mean, what sort of languages they spoke etc. There's been tonnes of theories and ideas thrown about over the last few hundred years but we'll never know the truth.

    So yeah that's what I'd do :D

I'd travel back to Westeros and give Daenarys Targaryen a good seeing too.
