    This a question for Eircom.

Is there a reason for the upload speeds to be capped at 20 meg on a fibre to the cabinet connection?

Attainable Net Data Rate. Some people can go higher than 20meg upload and some can go higher also on download speed.

UPC is capped at 10meg upload. If you can go higher than 20meg upload. Why not? Its a selling point, an advantage Eircom has over UPC.

More download and upload than UPC surely Eircom can see the benefit of doing it?

    Hi KIERAN1
Thanks for the question. Any such decisions would have to be made at operational level and to be honest if this could be done without affecting speeds to other users, I am sure it would be done.
I have passed on your post to operations though.
