It's a bizjet anyway - could it be John Kerry? He was in Israel for talks.

Currently a Qatar Airways 777 Doha-Montreal squaking 7700 over Ireland. Turned back just north west of Belmullet. I'm guessing it's headed to Manchester.

Looks like it's heading for MAN alright. Wonder what the prob was? Couldn't have been that major if it didn't head for Shannon or Dublin

Probably a medical emergency if it was very serious they would have diverted to SNN or DUB.

MAN is a Qatar Airways destination, so that would be a factor if the problem does not necessitate an immediate landing.

That Qatari was indeed a medical emergency. Thought about going to Dublin at first but Manchester it was.

I've seen that "Blocked" plane a few times and have often wondered what it could be. Strange one.

It reminded me of this one that I screen-cappped back on July 18th 2012. Never saw it again after that.

I am pretty sure this is Toulouse and their sponsor Airbus related. Bet they visited Thomond Park as part of their test :)
