    FFS he could have killed someone! He should be kept locked up as he is in no fit state to be allowed into normal society unchecked.

    Why did they release him?? Even if he has mental health issues he can still be convicted and get the help he needs through the justice system. What if he kills a few pedestrians next time?

    I'd actually have been surprised had he been charged - pity all the do-gooders in our state were as concerned about the actual victims of crime and THER rights- horrible act of petty vandalism and he should have had the book thrown at him , apart from the fact he could have maimed many innocent victims.
