"GAA star abused over alleged gay porn movie" **WARNING FIRST POST**

    "A GAA star has been subject to a stream of homophobic abuse after allegedly appearing in a gay adult video.

    The video, which is pay-per-view, was uploaded last month and went viral online yesterday, with dozens of Twitter users passing comment.

    Some accepted his apparent decision to appear in a pornographic film, but many hurled abuse or made crude jokes, while some expressed conern for the young man's well-being.

    That article doesn't state who the alleged person is, but their identity is being reported elsewhere. Between this and the Sky deal its been a busy news week for the GAA!

    Indeed. I'm trying to remember if that Waterford hurler (I think) got any abuse for appearing on a straight porn site.

    Normal is a bit of a stretch. It's not your average daddy drops junior to the playground then goes makes a gay porno.

    greg jacob was abused to high heaven.
    People slagging him left right and centre and it was discussed the length of the country.

    People are leaping to this guys defence cos he is gay.

    It's nothing to do with being gay and everything to do with porn and the choices people make in their lives.

    If he appears in porn he has to expect some people will have issues with that from a moral stance. some people will have issues more than others.

    Gonna say that as he is a father of one and in the public eye I think appearing in a porn video isn't the smartest move and he hasn't considered the effect on his kid (or the kids' mother - article doesn't state if they're relationship)
    I think it's fairly crap behaviour as a result,.

    Surely he must've known when he did it that it would get out eventually (no pun intended). The guy is obviously in need of help, and if this leads to him getting the care he needs then it may well end up being of benefit to him in the long term.

    Regardless of the "won't someone please think of the children" this is a person who clearly needs some help around his mental well being. His friends and family should be trying to help him first not worrying about the effects on other people at the moment.

    He hasn't considered the effect on himself, nevermind anyone else.

    If you dont like gay porn dont watch it. Wtf is everyones problem. All sitting there pretending they never watched a porn before.
    These people are all wives mothers brothers local gaa stars and any number of things looking for fame or money. If you think its wrong blame the man on the other end of the camera or dont watch it. If you think its wrong because its gay then its you who has the problem.

    However from reading other post it appears there is more to this chap than the immediate concern.
    I did read about a GAA player who owes a ton and basically f-d everybody around. Maybe it's the same fella.
    maybe he needs help.

    But it doesn't excuse his actions.

    There would be chaos if we excused actions on the basis of "i was in a bad place" doesn't mean we don't sympathise but doesn't mean we let it slide either.

    It's in the public domain now and being discussed here .

    but what would be the problem with naming him here on boards?

    It's not like this is some rumour or whatever...he has chosen to appear in a film which has been released. He obviously isn't too concerned about getting a public profile on it.

    What actions? He has done nothing wrong legally. You don't know him or his family and are being incredibly judgmental about someone you don't know and assuming everything about his family.

    I think people would have an issue if it was normal heterosexual porn, that said, the gaa is pretty conservative so the gay things ads venom. The issue is just that for some stupid reason parents think sports stars make good role models.

    This country is rapidly developing a gambling problem to go with our drinking problems.

    He was in a porno, he didn't kill someone. That fact its a gay porno is irrelevant really. This is obviously a person who was so desperate for money he felt he had no other option than to do this, he needs help and support for his gambling issues, not jokes or judgement. I really do fear for his mental health now which probably wasn't the best to begin with, I hope he gets the help he needs and that he will be okay.

    Ever think of the effects it has on alexis texas kids? What about max steeles kids?
    Gambling is the problem here. If he was in a straight porn he probably wouldnt have got paid and would be getting high fives off everyone but the bookie.
