    Ye it would be.
The owner of the lorry and his son are complete gents.
    Couldn't meet nicer lads.
He's collecting me everyday and he's not bothered about it at all because he's collecting a good sup

Case956 i use an app on iphone called measure your land, seems to be good and as accurate as the trimble in the tractor.

On the phone as gps, its funny was on an American aircraft carrier and the tour guide was saying that the gps on your phone is more accurate than the system they use even on the modern ships.

Also i dont think 3 satelites is enough for he level of correction needed for tractor guidance. Ours certainly wont work with only 3, cant remember for definite but have a feeling its 8or 9 before it'll go to green reception which is needed.

Basically the unit needs to triangulate multiple times to clarify its position as to just do it off 3 satelites would still allow for massive error

Two FR bullocks for the mart tomorrow. 24 months and ranging from 550kg to 600 kg. Hoping for around €900 but I suppose over €800 I would be happy.

Iet us know how you get on.

Currently feeding FR bullocks for slaughter. I had intended on keeping them, but they done well over the winter due to great silage. So I made a last minute decision to slaughter, as i didnt fancy turning out FR bullocks avg 590kgs because they would destroy the place and they were near finishing anyway.

They are now three weeks into a seven week finishing period.

    Also feeding AA bullocks.

Have a date for slaughter late April but may cool em off and hold tough for price increases. It's easy maintain em when they have the condition on.

Roughly how much would you expect to make on these profit wise? You bought them at a week old and bucket reared them aye?

No idea as yet. Bought them when i first set up for €80 each. So say 300 for meal over the 24 months and 60 for milk replacer each. So quickly they cost €440 to date. They were out wintered with two bales of silage aswell

Just in from my midnight run, weird Spring, not a fox to be seen but sign all over the place. Not that I am complaining. Rerun of The Sopranos on now so it'll be an hour before I hit the hay, cider time!

Lambing and Calving at the same time. I've really got to tighten ip that calving spread. Lovely HCA heifer out of a BBX cow tonight. A cracker but was hard earned. Two sets of triplets lambs tonight aswell. The jeep was packed on the way home. I've really got to start scanning. A cool carlsberg and bed. Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking!!!!!!!!!!

Good point. Have a badger city only a few hundred yards from our house, absolutely huge den/set and another big fox den a few hundred yards in the other direction. Place is full of hares and wild goats aswell. Not a day goes by that I wouldn't stumble across one of the species named above and in my lifetime they haven't caused us any harm apart from the goats knocking a few walls but we don't have sheep either for the fox to harm. I would be very slow to interfere with any of them. Never had a case of neospora or a massive outbreak of tb despite the odd reactor over the years.
