yeah, been following this for the last while. The people living on base have been told to close ventilation systems and stay sheltered. Creepy listening to the loud speakers telling people to seek shelter

But But if everyone else had guns how did they do this. You know as the Pro gun side say armed opposition is the best deterrence. Tragic loss of life tbh

Military personnel are unarmed on bases in the US.

It's a fcuking massive base and there is probably 1 MP to every 50/100 men or more.

Guards at the entraces aren't much use if the shooter is already within the base.

Base radio traffic saying shooter is Booker Muhhamed, same guy identified by LE as planning this type of attack. See link below

Multiple reports that there are two shooters. Hospital is being evacuated. Apaches are in the air for surveillance to attempt to locate shooter at large.

Medevac birds are still working.

UPDATE 1840 EST:
Reports of 1 KIA, 8 Wounded, Medevac Birds operating.

Multiple reports that the shooter has taken his own life.

Med BDE building. Suspect is still at large. Post on lockdown. If you are on Fort Hood keep your happy ass indoors if you are still at your duty location. If you live on post lock your goddamn doors and pull 360 degree security.

Our sources tell us there are 6 casualties so far and we ****ing pray there are no more before the shooter can be put down.

If guns are banned on base does that mean that people are searched for firearms at the entrances or would they just expect soldiers or visitors to voluntarily stash any guns they have there? Serious security gap anyway given previous incident.

Security has been laspe at most US for years and no matter how many times there warned they never learn
