Hershel had given it to Glenn

So, Glenn & Co were really dejected and afraid when Rick & co opened the trailer and got in. They just hid, didn't even attempt to escape. They must be broken!

I'm still wondering who closed the door after they got in

    I liked it.

I also thought I was watching the wrong episode at first.

I had wondered why/where/how Maggie had procured such a colourful distinctive poncho. I wonder how Rick recognised it though because it only appeared since they left the prison.

Rick is really on the ball, he reads scenes so well.

Im only surprised they havent shown more brutality in terms of rape and beating in this show. The post apocalyptic world would be full of brutal crazies who would think nothing of raping and eating you. Only the toughest would survive.

I think Terminus is a very interesting place and really looking forward to season 5. Also like the fact it's not in the comics so no one really knows what's going on.
"Seeing Gareth and Rick and the people of Terminus and our survivors go head-to-head is going to be interesting," The Walking Dead's executive producer/comics creator Robert Kirkmantold THR. "There is a very deep, dark and storied history to Terminus and how these people came to be that will be revealed in season five."

The poncho is/was Daryl's, he's had it since season 1. Not sure when Maggie is supposed to have taken it though.

While Terminus itself isn't in the comics I think the
    cannibal group
has appeared in the comics. I like the way they've been including events from the comics this season but re-inventing them or applying them to different characters. I thought this series finale was better than the last series finale perhaps simply because I was expecting quite a bit more from the previous finale and thus felt disappointed (although the mid-series finale made up for that :D).
Overall I still enjoy the show and I think this was one of the stronger series. "The Grove" was one of the most chilling and heart breaking episodes of the entire series.

It was a good episode but didn't tie up enough. And my god, the Terminus roof snipers can't shoot for sh1t.

This painstakingly slow story development with emphasis on 'character development' has me worried that the show is turning into another Lost. They're only catering to a small portion of the audience and frustrating everyone else.

The mid season finale of season 5 will be them escaping from the Terminus . Probably 1st episode will be Carol & Tyreese. Oh don't forget an episode where we find out what happened to Beth.
So is it safe to assume that they are indeed cannibals? We saw what looked like a room full of human skeletons in the chase towards the end of the episode.

I think the roof snipers were just guiding them to where they wanted them!!
Also where they showed them running there was what seemed like a yard with a load of body parts and guts!!

Ah good, for some reason I never noticed it on him, but as soon as it was on here I was like "where did that come from!".

I have come up with a theory that the people in terminus are in fact not cannibles !! but are an ancient sect of .... manimals.

how so you say ? Well they had lots of bones in a cage, and like to eat people, like some animals. Also they like to take shiny things such as glens watch like a certain member of the bird family the magpie, Yes i know it all makes sense now.

    thanks.

I wonder did Beth have it, not Maggie

Apparently you see Glenn packing up the poncho after he wakes up by himself at the prison and is gathering supplies, then he gives it to Maggie when they meet up again (puts it over her like a blanket IIRC?)

    Poncho mystery solved!

The last sentence ''they're screwin' with the wrong people'' was built up as if Rick had out-smarted them or had a plan so it fell flat on its face as a season closer. At least if they gave us hope of quick resolution of the Terminus plot-line it'd give you something to hold on to until October.

Yeah it made for a pretty weak cliffhanger ending. Rick has certainly 'outsmarted' the Terminus crew by getting himself locked into a boxcar with his guns buried over the wall, outside in the forest.

It was a decent episode overall, the confrontation with Darryl's gang was certainly the high point of the episode. But the revelation that the Terminus crowd were up to no good left me very underwhelmed - the fact it was a trap was signposted (pun intended) by Rick explaining to Carl how the snare works (set the trap along the animal's track and it will run into the noose).

I am most looking forward to the interactions between rick and abraham next series. Two alphas having to work together. My guess for the first death of series 5 is bob or sasha

Anybody think that underneath Carls' hat was a good place to hide a weapon? Maybe it was just me over-analysing stuff in TWD again.

Top notch episode, the standout scene being where they meet up with Daryl again on the road.

A decent finale to a decidedly dodgy series, the less said about the first half the better, second half improved but not enough to bury the memories of the awful first seven episodes.

Because it's speculation. No one know for sure other than some guesses from a story arc but Terminus is a new location as well as it's inhabitants are new characters. The reason people are saying they are
    cannibals
is because they are cooking steaks but there is no live stock around, plus the fact the gang ran past what looked like a pit of human skeletal remains and the shooters where guiding them to a holding cell instead of just killing them.

People are only speculating, it's not a spoiler (althought for all intents and purposes, I'll spoiler the rest of this message) -
there're signs in the episode that would imply they might be cannibals (albeit could be a load of red herrings)...

As mentioned the fact Mary is constantly grilling meat, the big pile of bodies they ran past, and the powdered milk packets we saw outside the container before Rick & Co. got into it... Powdered milk is used to fatten people up...

Also the cannibals need to keep people alive to eat them. They would have to dismember their food piece by piece to prevent them from turning and therefore spoiling.

Put it this way, some entertainment news girl on 2FM was talking about how the terminus people were most likely cannibals this morning and I kinda doubt she has read the comics (apologies to the lady if she has :))

They wouldn't though. It's not particularly difficult to keep meat from spoiling, think of all those thousands of years before refrigeration.
