Possible cut in the Number of Bank Holidays in Ireland.

    On page 4 (top left) of the Metro Herald free news paper is an article saying that our betters in the Dail are considering doing away with the Easter Monday, June and August bank holidays to get everybody to work 3 days more each year to help boost the country's productivity :eek::eek:

    This from a bunch of Muppets who work less days then they are on holidays.

    Actually, today may be April 1st, but the EU actually do want us to cut our public holidays. They are our master, we'll do as they say eventually.

    Really we have less bank holidays than normal in the EU and in Germany they get 6 weeks holidays standard can't see why they would want to cut the holidays.

    He must mean working days if that's the case!
