If it were square it would be c. 170 x 170 yards.

Not very big, but its suitability will have more to do with the lie of the land, the proximity of neighbours, etc.

It's plenty big to be grateful for getting another plot to shoot on.:pac:

Seriously tho it's plenty big, around 29000 square yards. As long as you were asked to be there and have a safe back stop for every shot.... bang away

thanks lads, there is a small wood there as well, and yes i have full permission, the lad is going to show me around it next week, says the rabbits are taking over, and said his nearest neighbour is a mile away, maybe this will lead to others, the more the better, and of course back stops are more important than my targets,so hope weather gets better soon.

You'll do fine lad. You've got your bases covered and the right attitude too.

If there a small would I'd be building a high seat so I can see it all and shooting at a downwards angle then all the time .

Well if you got the land and do a good job word may spread with the farmer and he'll tell his mates and 6 acres could turn into 200acres
    Ya never know

thats a good idea, just a question..how high would the seat need to be for safe back stop shooting a hmr up to 100yrds?

Kinda have to survey the area but I'd be looking at between 3 and 5 meters depending what ur confrotable with height wise , be nice shooting from the a seated position .

If u do build something make sure and put up a pics.
