From today all BBC One HD regions have appeared on the UK version of the Sky EPG.

    976 England/BBC One HD
    977 Scotland
    978 Wales
    979 Northern Ireland

    Available in Ireland or not?

No sign of the English regions on HD yet; was hoping that BBC1 North West would have appeared.

Not available with a old BBC card in a sky box either

The English regions won't be appearing for now in HD. Only London is available as the main BBC 1 HD outside of Scotland, Wales and NI.

What I'd really like to know why they can't move BBC 1 HD from Ch 215 on the ROI EPG...

I know it's a knock on from when there was BBC HD as 143 - which changed to BBC 2 HD, but surely now they could change this? Kinda bit ar$eways.

4Seven is Ch 140 in the UK but being as we don't have that, then it could be BBC 1 NI here, move BBC 1 HD to 141, and leave 142 as BBC 2 NI and 143 as BBC 2 HD. Else punt BBC 2 HD up into the 21x ch range as per BBC 1 HD.

BBC1 HD and BBC2 HD are on 141 and 142 respectively on the ROI Epg, if you have the HD pack.

Yes I know (it's better) but even on the HD pack BBC 2 NI is 143 and BBC 1 NI is 215. Still mixed up (3 together & 1 apart) if you want to watch regional news (for example).

I was just imagining sense of them being 2 by 2 or all 4 together... Perhaps when BBC 3 goes... ;)

I imagine that Channel 4 own epg no 140

I guess you're right, they probably do own the rights to that channel slot in a country that they don't broadcast it...(due to what ever reasons - rights, payment to/from Sky etc). Who knows...? Seems kinda crazy to me....
