I tripped the light fantastic on a night out in Ennis. Who'd have known Ennis is a hotbed of craic. Is there any similar hotbeds?

    Dunmore, Co. Galway.
It's a one stop shop for shecks, mugs and Alcoball.

I've dipped my toe in Eyre Square. It came back smelling of bad plumbing.:pac:

Dublin. Better bars, restaurants, clubs and live music venues than anywhere else in the country.

Definitely not Galway. Awful fent of smugness off the place. It's the parochial backwater where its occupants (usually blow-ins) think they live in some sort of 1920's Berlin. It's a small city with about 3 good restaurants and 2 good pubs.

I've found Galway hard to beat. It's like Tenerife without the swimming pool and the sun but fock me is there some craic over there.

Dublin. Beggars and junkies everywhere. Costs a fortune. Stinks of piss. Bouncers are pricks. Also, too many Dubs in Dublin.

I'd say Portballintrae or somewhere like that judging by his accent.

Ok then. Let us imagine that you've packed your bags, joined your mates and have arrived at the arse end of nowhere for a night out. What is your first move?
