I've googled and tried everything but I can't embed a youtube video into Wordpress.

I've tried pasting the link into the Wordpress newsletter which is supposed to automatically embed but that didn't work.

Wordpress Settings allow embedding by the way.

I've tried the embed button on the wordpress editor. I chose the video option, flash option and iframe option.

I've tried pasting the embed code (old & new) from youtube into the newsletter but it doesn't work.

I'm going insane. Why isn't this working?

All you need to do is post the link to the video (not the embed code) on a line on its own. E.g.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYkPz0r7AkY

Just after been having the same problem in your editor go from VIsual too Text and put the embedd code in there. It'll render out on your website then.

On a line on its own? What theme are you using? What HTML does get rendered when you do that?
