I wonder why this Monarch flight turned around? ??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,321 ✭✭✭Foggy43

It hasn't turned around. This is a common thing that happens when aircraft get to the end of the ADBS box range that feeds Flightradar24. When you get a chance monitor aircraft as they approach 15 degrees west. They can look as though they are returning.

IRL251 - govt jet, probably doing touch and go at Baldonnell. I think it may have been doing similar in SNN earlier this week (yesterday maybe?)

Wonder were they dangling a blindfolded Varadkar out the door? "Apologise to Shatter! Say he has your full confidence or we'll drop ya'!" Then they gave him a little shove out the door when there was a 1ft drop, just in case he'd be tempted to stray again. Wonder who was getting the rendition treatment / similar today? Dobbo will reveal all on the news tonight.

Or they could've been just practicing.

    What? :D
