this is my car , needs something as the car needs 3000/4000 revs + to get any sort of movement ,then once its running its ok just sounds like your giving it loads of welly ! someone suggested it might be a accelorator sensor .anyone wants to check it out thats fine , apart from that its grand . price is very negotiable !

How would the Revenue know how much profit you make?
Unless you are running a dealership the deals will be all unofficial, face-to-face kind of stuff and its not like you'll have account books that they can check to see if you're running a hobby or a business...

They're entitled to ask and you could be required to show records relating to sale and profit/loss - hobby or business they won't care.

That said how many cars do you think you could turn around in a year, unless it's worth their while I doubt they would be interested.

    750

I'd say you'd get it less, but looks the part.... An excellent summer car perhaps?

I'd seriously doubt that it's turning out 155bhp.
The interior look immaculate though, a good clean up on the outside and a decent wax and nothing would say that it's a near 20 year old Alfa!

Is it okay to post your own motor in here, I've just lost the storage space for my beloved W124 (S124 Estate). Was laying it up for future use, but it looks like I'll have to let it go.

Yep it's ok as long as you say you own it.

Nice to see an ad where somebody makes reference to the bad points, accompanied by photos. Shows you are a honest and straight up about the car. Despite the clutch being gone I'm sure you'll shift it at that money

Cheers, the interior on it is lovely, if a little 'Japanese'. Former UK car though, not JDM, which I was surprised at considering the spec! All its really missing is parking sensors (which it should really have, its bloody massive!)

Mine is a pre-facelift JDM model, and off the top of my head, the only options it has over UKDM cars are sat nav and TV, massage seats, reclining rear seats and rear audio controls.
Best of luck with it, looks a stunner, and a bargain. Its crazy to think how little they are worth now, my one was €18000 when imported in 2003.

I got it for quite a bit less than asking....

Unreal value, looking for something different to my other car, and this is very much it. Probably not a long term keeper, but something a bit nice to swan around in for a few months and tidy up a bit.

The only obvious issue I can see with it for NCT is the SRS light stays on...any ideas what that could be caused by? Also some high pitched squeal from the rear of the car when you first start the car from cold...doesn't seem to be from the brakes though...reading ABS modulator could be gone or going?

Honda's have a habit of lighting up the srs if the battery has been disconnected. A reset should do the trick.

If the add is accurate, and it only needs tyres and an exhaust weld, this is a cracker.

Subaru Legacy B4, twin turbo, 280bhp.

You won't get faster for that kind of money.

Plus there's something really cool about Subaru wagons.

    Just one example.... ;)

I was surprised no one copped this was actually this yoke (which I'm also surprised no one copped where that photo was taken! :pac: )
