Getting that itch to change car in the next 6 months or so.

Something rwd and with more cylinders I think.

Wonder 6 months down the road if I could get 6k-6.5k for it.

It's that all its worth

FFS, this comes up for sale now. It lives about 5 minutes from me in Dublin.

Anyone want a cheap beetle? :pac:

How cheap? I've got a fiver, a wristwatch and a candy bar... is that good enough? :pac:

I just went onto the BMW Configurator there and I love how you can double the value of a 518d by simply adding all the options :D

    €103k for a 518d, fook :pac:

Throw €600 on top of that and its yours! ;)

Meanwhile you get an entire E34 with 3.0 V8 for €1500 in a very good condition and much more fun than a small diesel.

That's nothing :pac: €2.5k for the paint, €3.3k for the alloys, €5k for the Bang & Olufsen Audio System

    That B&O system is worth a 2004 530d :D

So you can either have this or an S-Class. :pac:

But its like a 141, and its got cheap tax, and its a diesel :pac: *I can totally justify spending over 100k on all the extras if i get the cheap tax and diesel economy where ever i go! :pac:

I wonder if a fully optioned 518d exists somewhere. Whoever bought it is a tool :D

    I'd much rather pay a €100k for a 640d Gran Coupe :D

I hope no one ever said that. If I heard some one say that I would just be lost for words and walk away.

On the spending money on cars
I've spent about half of what it cost me to buy the focus on maintenance and it wasn't that cheap too buy. I'm also selling it for less than I paid for it so looking at it that way whoever buys it is getting a good deal :)

Isn't it grand when your boss borrows your car and after your heart is in your mouth while it's gone it comes back with tonnes of diesel :)

BMW 518d press car would be loaded to the hilt.

I remember reading a road test of the 1.8 TSI version of the B7 Passat in Volkswagen driver magazine - and they happened to mention the fact that it was possible to get the 1.8 tsi Passat to near Pheaton money if you went wild on the extras.

I see the "buying" sub forum is up and running now.

Loose the dustbins bolted on the back and I'd be into that.

When you're pushing big turbos you need to let the gasses run freely. ;)
13b's can make serious power too.

They remind me of Madonna's pointy boobs from the 80's
