That time of the year again, always worth an extra phone call when planning a round to check whether the greens have recently been done. Was in Knightsbrook yesterday and they were done last week so not too bad, shame about the weather though, the heavens opened on 11/12/13 so we came in along with almost everyone else.…

Got stung in luttrellstown Paddy's weekend, Sanded, forked, mangled, and no mention over the phone.

Silly not to ask but it was a quick decision.

Played Lisheen Springs a week ago and the greens were great, was a real enjoyable round because of it. Not lightening fast but tracking very well, which is exactly the way I like it,

Wonder if it's been done, or have they yet to do it?

Macreddin was hollow tinned and sanded on Mon 24th Mar, playing a society there on Sat 31st so hoping it won't be too bad. Club did ring the society to notify of the maintenance work and are offering a discount to compensate for the reduced enjoyment.
Not aware of any other club that has been done recently.

Galway Bay had its greens done on the 18/19 march. Played it last Sunday and they had come back quiet a bit but lots of sand. Seen on their Facebook page how much their greens have already come back and they are gonna be very good very soon.
Good idea for a thread as i have been stung too many times.
