    Hi,

I have a Triax saorview box which records programs to a *.tsv file.

This file plays perfectly on a PC with Windows XP Windows Media Player 9 but not on another PC with Windows 7 Windows Media Player 12.

I'm guessing this is a codec issue with Windows 7. I figured out that the Windows XP PC is using ffdshow Audio / Video Codec.

How do I download and install this codec on the Windows 7 PC? I'm not very savey with codecs so any help will be great!

    Thanks

Try renaming them to *.TS or simply install VLC Player which can handle just about anything

Thanks for the tips, but had already both of these suggestions. Changing to .TS doesn't work and VLC Player wasn't able to play it either. Only player that worked was the Windows Media Player on XP.
