Any one here have experience in opening ports with this this Samsung box they give us, I've been trying all day and seems like ports just won't open properly. I've even tried DMZing and still doesn't seems like there are any luck. And from what I can see the box doesn't seem to like machine having static ip for it, if I set a static ip it doesn't show on the DHCP client table at all.

Help, please!

This sounds correct, the 'D' in DHCP is 'dynamic' so why would it show 'static' addresses? An arp table would show all.

So you've set a static IP, entered that IP and the port numbers into the port forwarding page on the router, and you can't access the service? Can you access it inside your network, using the static IP?

My bad on the dhcp table, very dumb of me.

Well the thing is I am trying to get this cctv working for online viewing, I fiddled with it for a while it works now, but for some reason when I use my internet at home to connect to the external ip for viewing, it doesn't connect, but when I try to connect to the external ip not using the internet in my house (eg 3G) it works. In order to view it on the phone with the internet at home I have to use the internal ip. Any idea why's that?

You need WAN loopback. The connection has to go out to the internet and come back if it always wants to be able to hit your external IP.

Dont know if you'll be able to do it on the horizon box.

The horizon box doesn't support NAT Reflection. You can't use your external address if you're on the network. You need to check if it works from an external network
